Another House Under the Hill Question

Greetings!

While reading through the House Under the Hill I noted the Invorath, the giant Earl of Four Wells, while listed in most places as a Storm Giant, his stat-block is that of a Stone Giant.

Is he a Stone Giant, or is he a custom build of a Storm Giant?
